What's a Diverter pulley?
Pictured is our closed or Hard Wood Diverter Pulley, we also offer an all Aluminum "untrapped" Diverter Pulley. The Aluminum Diverter Pulley has silicone rubber tops to protect dogs should they make contact.

This is how we use the Diverter pulley with our Jack Russells. We use the pulley to direct the nylon string to and from the machine; it makes for a safer way of running our shorter speed course. Moving the pulley also makes for a quick string tension adjustment. Here you can see the lure leaving the machine and getting ready to enter the Diverter pulley.
This shows the side view of the set up. We usually put up the fencing right behind the diverter to block the machine from dogs running zone.
